Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries to keep financial records accurate and current.
Process customer invoices and vendor payments on schedule, following up on outstanding balances to maintain healthy cash flow.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly, identifying and resolving discrepancies before they compound.
Support payroll processing by compiling hours, verifying data, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Prepare and organize financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation to assist leadership in making informed business decisions.
Maintain organized digital and physical records for transactions, contracts, and receipts in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Assist with sales tax filings, year-end close activities, and coordination with external accountants or auditors as needed.
What we're looking for
Proven experience managing full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, with a track record of accurate, timely processing
Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve them without escalation
Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and strong proficiency in Excel for financial reporting and analysis
