Earth & Beyond Ventures is an Israeli venture capital fund investing in early-stage startups. The fund actively manages financial operations for its portfolio companies and works with government bodies such as the Israel Innovation Authority — a hands-on, operationally engaged investment approach.
This internship sits inside the Finance function and reports directly to the CFO. You will contribute to the full financial operating cycle of the fund and its portfolio companies — from monthly cash flow tracking and periodic financial statements to preparing submissions for the Israel Innovation Authority.
This is not a filing-and-photocopying internship. You will own discrete workstreams, work with real financial data, and interact with the kind of government and institutional reporting that most finance students don't see until years into their careers.
Responsibilities
Assist in budgeting processes and financial reporting for portfolio companies, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery
Support preparation of reports submitted to the Israel Innovation Authority, following regulatory requirements and deadlines
Assist with grant application preparation and ongoing grant management, including tracking milestones and documentation
Help manage cash flow reporting and tracking across fund and portfolio entities
Contribute to the preparation of periodic and annual financial statements
Work closely with the CFO on ad hoc financial analyses and internal reporting needs
Requirements
Currently enrolled as a second-year student or higher in a BA or MA program in Accounting or Economics
Proficiency in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
Native-level Hebrew — all internal and regulatory documentation is in Hebrew
High-level English — required for cross-border portfolio and investor communication
Strong attention to detail
High level of ownership and independence
Strong analytical thinking and ability to learn quickly
Nice to Have
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a finance-adjacent role
Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Priority
Genuine interest in startups and venture capital
Experience working with government funding bodies or grant frameworks in Israel
Benefits
Direct mentorship and collaboration with the CFO of an active VC fund
Hands-on exposure to VC-level financial operations, grant management, and portfolio reporting
Internship experience that is meaningfully differentiated on a finance or accounting CV
Opportunity to build a professional network within the Israeli startup and venture ecosystem
