Senior Software Engineer

Lead the design and delivery of scalable software systems, driving technical excellence and mentoring engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and implementation of critical systems
• Code reviews and engineering standards enforcement
• Mentor junior/mid engineers
• Drive architectural improvements for scalability and reliability
• Lead incident response and on-call rotation
• Collaborate with product, design, and infra teams
• Document design decisions and runbooks
• Contribute to hiring and interviews

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or similar
• Strong system design fundamentals (scalability, reliability, data consistency)
• RESTful/GraphQL API design + relational and non-relational databases
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and influence engineering direction
• Experience mentoring engineers
• Strong communication skills

Nice to Have

• AWS/GCP/Azure + Docker/Kubernetes
• SRE/microservices/distributed systems experience
• CI/CD and IaC familiarity
• Open-source contributions
• Startup experience
