About the Company
Metacentric appears to be a technology-focused organization based in Binyamina, Israel, likely operating within the software or IT services space. The company seems to work with technical teams to deliver and maintain software-driven solutions, with an emphasis on operational reliability and system integrity. Based in Israel's thriving tech corridor between Tel Aviv and Haifa, Metacentric likely serves clients or internal stakeholders who depend on stable, well-managed IT infrastructure. The hybrid work model suggests a culture that values both collaboration and individual autonomy.
About the Role
Metacentric is looking for a mid-level IT professional to join its software department in a hybrid capacity from Binyamina. This role is built for someone who takes genuine ownership — someone who doesn't wait to be told what's broken, but already knows, and has already started fixing it. The right person will establish full, confident command over the IT environment, becoming the go-to authority on systems, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end IT environment — hardware, software, and network — ensuring every system is stable, secure, and performing at its best at all times.
- Proactively monitor, audit, and optimize infrastructure so that issues are identified and resolved before they impact the team or business operations.
- Lead IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring every employee has the access, equipment, and tools they need from day one.
- Manage software licenses, vendor relationships, and procurement to keep the organization's toolstack current, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and best practices that give the organization clear standards to operate against.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues across the department, resolving complex problems decisively and documenting solutions for future reference.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual overhead, tighten security posture, and give leadership full visibility into the IT landscape.
