Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of its production facility.
About the Role
This hands-on role is ideal for a maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and working across a variety of building systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on facility equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Inspect and maintain utility systems to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
Support the maintenance of mechanical systems, compressed air equipment, cooling systems, wastewater infrastructure, and related utilities.
Perform basic electrical repairs, including lighting and other facility-related electrical components.
Complete minor plumbing repairs and install or replace common building fixtures.
Carry out general facility maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and other handyman work.
Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation.
Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in safe working condition.
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in facilities, industrial, building, or general maintenance.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, equipment, and aerial lifts.
