About the Role
This is a contract, on-site Senior Full Stack Engineer role based in Wilmington, DE, sitting at the intersection of backend architecture and polished front-end delivery. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full stack features across both client-facing and server-side layers, ensuring reliability and performance at each touchpoint.
- Collaborate on-site with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into clean, testable code.
- Architect and maintain RESTful APIs or GraphQL services that integrate seamlessly with front-end interfaces and third-party systems.
- Review pull requests and contribute to a culture of code quality — offering actionable feedback and raising the technical bar across the codebase.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues quickly, minimizing user impact and documenting root causes for future prevention.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical scoping, and estimation, helping the team make informed build-vs-buy decisions.
- Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and developer tooling to keep the team shipping efficiently.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship end-to-end features across a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue) and a server-side language (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
- Proven track record working with relational or NoSQL databases — writing efficient queries, designing schemas, and optimizing for scale.
- Experience integrating and designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs with a clear understanding of security, versioning, and error handling.
